Institutional information

Fundación DEFENDIA was established as a international non-profit, non-religious and apolitical organization. Its main goal is to protect the human rights, in a context of creating safe and sustainable environment.

Working for a safe environment, promotes research of any type of terrorism, crime, violence and discrimination. This approach encourages studies, research, technical and technological development as well as communication and outreach actions.

Working in a sustainable environment requires promotion of the socioeconomic development of the poorest geographic areas, fraud prevention, and good practices in political and economic transparency, in the line with the ideas promoted by the European Commission, the Organization of United Nations (UN) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
