DEFENDIA, collaborates with other organizations whose aims are similar or complementary, taking always into account the respect as a frame of work for the equality and contribution to the sustainable development.
Sponsoring entities
Who can be a sponsoring entity?
The organizations that satisfy the requirements established in the statutes of establishment and demonstrating its commitment of adhesion and fulfillment of DEFENDIA's Code of ethics is identified by the mission of the Foundation and want to contribute to its achievement.
DEFENDIA recognizes two categories of sponsoring entity:
- Sponsoring entity with employer's category: the sponsoring entities of actions contributes to the patrimony of the foundation, by means of money endowment or in kind contribution; as such, they take part in the Patronage of the Foundation and in its organs of management (General Assembly and Executive Commissions), according to the screening process established in the bylaws. They have right to vote.
- Sponsoring entity of actions: the sponsoring entities of actions contribute of punctual form with the Foundation, by means of an economic contribution or in kind, as support to the execution of a project or activity that is of interest for both parts and that is in line with the foundational objectives.
Collaboration agreements
In line with its original philosophy and with the established aims in the bylaws, DEFENDIA promotes the collaboration among organizations with similar or complementary missions, as way to reach higher goals in the fight against any form of violence, terrorism and delinquency, as well as to promote the socioeconomic development and well-being of groups and the least favored areas.
Collaboration agreements are established under the frame of joint engineering development of projects and actions that, or they star from helps summons and public subsidies or, on the contrary, they arise by means of private initiatives of sponsoring entities of actions.
