International Conference in Madrid
DEFENDIA in collaboration with IPOA (International Peace Operations Asociattion) organizes the first international conference of Security Sector in Spain. This act will celebrate next 28th of May, and will be meet professionals, ONG’s and companies of the whole world.
Agreement between AVADISE and DEFENDIA
AVADISE (Asociación Valenciana de Directores de Seguridad) and DEFENDIA established an agreement for the study of projects related to the civil safety and good practices in companies of the Security sector and theirs departments.
Privacy right
CONFIALIS, in its constant work for the fundamental rights, in relation to the people’s privacy, starts up DEFENDIA Foundation. Both entities organize together a conference next 27th of January in Valencia in sole right for the Valencia’s Security Sector.
The topic will be about the Juridical Security of European citizens and the different mechanism that these citizens have to exercise their rights before any Organization that handles their information

Foundation
Fundación DEFENDIA is an international non-profit, non-religious and apolitical organization. Its main goal is to protect the human rights, in a context of creating safe and sustainable environment.
Objectives
Since its inception, Fundación DEFENDIA implements the philosophy based on the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility. This philosophy is reflected in the management policies, both internally (management of the Foundation staff, gender issue, risk prevention, promotion, training; information security, environment, quality system) as well as externally (transparency in communication, relationship with other organizations and public administration, relationship with other stakeholders and relationship with suppliers).
Goals
One of our main goals is to enhance the socio-economic development in concrete geographical areas, sectors and less privileged groups. We follow the action priorities set by the European Commission and international agencies, starting with the basic premise of equality and contribution to sustainable development.
Collaborators
Fundación DEFENDIA collaborates with institutions. Among others with the UN, TI (Transparency International), AI (Amnesty International), EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development), IMF (International Monetary Fund), IPOA (International Peace Operations Association), and as well as with private entities. All of them are involved, interested or immersed in the development of human rights.
